Thanks Nanamok. I thought the same thing but no luck with those either. It's rather baffling. And I've rechecked my steps several times. Used all of the programming methods too but no success. :-(

Hi:

We are having the same problem. Most of my HD channels are showing the Wait a Moment messege. Tried troubleshooting a at least 3 times with technical support and also changed the cable box. All cables and connections are working properly since I can watch every other channel that is not HD. Were you able to solve your problem?

My PLD3271A-E I got at HH Gregg won't work with any of the codes above. I also tried the alternate automated/search method.

Does anyone have another code to try?

Thanks.

Re: mogscna error when searching

Hello.  I am at my wit's end.  I repeatedy get the MOGSCNA error on my search screen and CL0x000f when trying to access On Demand.  I have talked to people and unplugged my box regarding this error 6-10 times. (at least 30 minutes on the phone each time.) They have sent re-set signals to my house to no avail.  Two weeks ago I stayed home from work to meet the technician, who came in and assured me it was fixed after tightening the connections. Well guess what?  Same error today.  I do not want to call.  I do not want to take everything off of my furniture, pull back my rug, climb behind the hutch and unplug the TV again.  I want someone in the darn company to take some responsiblilty for this and tell me what in the world is wrong.  When I sit down on a Saturday night and want to watch a movie On Demand, I want the service that I pay for to work. (Despite the fact that the techs call this an "accessory" service, as if that means I should not expect it to work.  I resent this.)   Is that too much to ask?  Can someone please help me?  I am done with the techs on the phone.

You can try a "hard" delete on your DVR. It will completely delete everything on the DVR, kind of like reformatting the hard drive in a computer.

-Access the diagnostic screen by pressing the "CABLE" light/button, the grey "POWER" button, and then pressing the "OK/Select key" until the disgnostic screen appears.

-While at the diagnostics menu, on your remote press "Instant replay", "My DVR", My DVR", "My DVR", and "LIVE"

-The front LED display on the box should read "Clr." Press the "OK/Select" key on the remote and the box will reset and clear the box

Too bad - guess you're stuck using two remotes or buying a universal remote.

Sound hiccups on only HD BBC Channel 730

I consistently get BBC HD 730 channel sound hiccups where only the sound stops for 1 to 2 seconds then returns, this can repeat ever few minutes.  This occurs on either of my 2 HD DVR boxes.  I have tested this with surround sound hdmi, and with digital audio and with RCA cables including directly hooking up the DVRs to my TVs as a test and this still occurs.  Never happens on other channels I watch all HD in the 600s, seems so odd, I have resorted watching anything on BBC on demand.  Was wondering if anyone has had this issue and resolved it, and yes I have had about 4 box swaps done past 2 years yet this remains a factor. My DVR boxes have gone from the RNG 200 to the newer black higher capcity ones, occured on both models for me.

The tech responding did say that one of my cards was not coded correct;y and not paired properly.  I am still having the issue.  He said to wait until the end of April since they were still working with cable cards.  He also said we might have the 2 way Samsung cards available to us soon.  Maybe that will help.  Hope so.

Still troubleshooting.  I have exhausted all avenues with Tivo so I will continue to work with Comcast and try to figure this out.  Latest was that the case manager has noticed some sort of issues in the signal and was checking into those a few days ago.  I do not believe this was signal strength in the house.

Signal issues in Seattle/Redmond?

Is anyone else experiencing signal issues in the Seattle area?

We've noticed pixellation and audio drops over the last couple of days -- different channels are affected, some more than others.  Mostly noticed on King 5 (105) but also seeing it on Komo DT, etc.

FYI, contacted Customer Service -- they sent a reset to my devices and it appears to have cleared the issue, they've said approximately 30 minutes for a full reload

Hourly stutter on CBS

On November 1, 2013, I contacted CBSAtlanta to ask whether they were aware of the stutter - video appears to be a s-l-o-w strobe effect with accompanying audio, so it's not a problem with one or the other. It had been noticeable at 11PM when the CBSNews started, although now we see it every hour. I switch to news on another channel.

CBS' reply: "Thank you for your email.  I know some viewers have been experiencing issues through Comcast, and I believe it was a technical issue they are trying to get resolved.  Since I am unsure if it is the same issue, I am forwarding your email to my Chief Engineer."

My idea is that this is caused by a signal being sent from CBS or, more likely, Comcast on the hour, since I was watching the Vanderbilt-Kentucky football game (November 16) on channel 7 / WPCH, and when the picture stuttered, we looked at the time - 1:00PM. It affects the start of our favorite programs, especially on CBS.

When I checked with my daughter who also has Comcast but pays for HD programming, they don't see it on 809 / HD. Evidently it occurs only on standard broadcast.

Is this an effort by Comcast to get us to pay for HD every month?

CBS was again (January 13, 2014) contacted, and they replied "have reached out to comcast"

Similar problem with a TV using the DTA - HGTV comes and goes, and 41/TNT does not appear - period, although it did previously. Both of these channels are accessible on my other TV which is on a DTA. Unfortunately, the so-called experts on here keep saying something else is wrong, but it's probably the DTA (once free - but not part of a 'program or limited-time offer', but now we are being charged for it monthly).

Dear Comcast If it is a local transmission issue or you can see there are numerous people in same area complaining of the same problem it is most probably your issue and not a problem with the "customers internal wiring" that you are blaming all of these issues on. Get it fixed on your end before you start charging customers even more $ for a system that is not working. Calling you your support is pretty much useless with customers getting transferred several times, put on hold indefinitely, and reps trying random different things.

Yes, Comcast doesn't care where in the house the equipment is, feel free to move around as much as you want
